  1. Tuesday, November 3rd is Election Day! We will post candidates and sample ballots once they are available from the Town Clerk!
  2. The winner of the August primaries face each other on the November ballot.
  3. All voters – even voters not affiliated with a political party – can vote in November.
  4. In 2020, Bridgeport voters will vote for President, U.S. House of Representatives, State Sentate, State Representative, and Registrar of Voters.

✨ How will I know who to vote for?

  1. You should educate yourself on who is running and what their platforms are! We will post sample ballots as soon as they are available. Candidates often have Facebook pages and websites, which we will post if available, as well.

✨ I am not registered to vote in Bridgeport. Can I still register?

  1. You can register to vote by mail by downloading, printing, and mailing your registration from here: http://portal.ct.gov/SOTS/Election-Services/Register-to-Vote/Voter-Registration-Application-English-and-Spanish 
  2. If you have a state-issued ID, you can register to vote online here: https://voterregistration.ct.gov/OLVR/welcome.do
  3. You can register to vote in person at the Registrar Of Voters Office any day, even on Election Day.
